Last week, we highlighted Initiative 2 of our Solidarity in Action campaign: Justice for Shepherds in the Jordan Valley. In the hills of the northern Jordan Valley, Palestinian shepherds have long maintained a deep connection to their land, a connection that spans generations. However, since October 7th, their traditional way of life has faced escalating threats. The violence against these shepherds and Palestinian communities throughout the West Bank has intensified significantly. This relentless aggression has forced many Palestinians off their land.
During next week's event, you will hear from Israeli activists Itamar Feigenbaum and Elie Avidor, who provide critical support to the shepherds in the Jordan Valley. They will share their firsthand experiences, along with Mai Shahin and Jamil Qassas, who will discuss CfP's efforts to combat settler land theft and violence. Learn more about CfP's nonviolent resistance work and how you can support Palestinian families to remain steadfast in the face of increasing violence.
This is a valuable opportunity to engage directly with our activists, hear their stories, and ask questions about annexation, settlement expansion, and CfP’s Solidarity in Action campaign. Discover how CfP is working to co-create a shared homeland and how you can take action to advance human rights for all.
We hope to see you next Wednesday for this impactful conversation.
