Medicine Beyond Borders with Dr. Ed Chu
Medicine Beyond Borders: Reflections on the State of International Emergency Medicine and Building a Career in Global Health.
After years of focusing first on the management of infectious diseases and later on chronic conditions, COVID galvanized attention on the poor state of access to emergency care in many low- and middle-income countries. Join me for a conversation on the exciting developments in global emergency medicine, some of the recent challenges, and how residency did and didn't prepare me for a career in global health.
